Forget What You Know About Dubturbo

It’s hard to believe that Dubturbo has been around for so many years already, and like any software that’s been around for almost half a decade – it’s improve a lot. Like, A LOT. In other words, if you have used Dubturbo in the past and were like “This is kinda meh”, think again and I’ll tell you how I got the latest versions for free. The earlier versions (Dubturbo 1, Dubturbo 2) were … let’s just say… not so great. You’ll see a lot of people talking about how dubturbo is a scam, but in reality it was just fairly basic software that did what it was supposed to do HOWEVER it lacked a lot of really basic features so it’s understandable why people were frustrated. I owned the first version, used it for a few days, felt like I got my money’s worth playing around with it then never touched it again. Until recently..

How I Got Free Dubturbo Updates

Something that’s really cool, that I didn’t realize until I logged on to check out the latest version of Dubturbo, is that I was able to get all the latest versions and updates for free.  So over the past however-many-years since I bought Dubturbo 1, they’ve invested a bunch of time, effort and money into making this software better and better and it didn’t cost me a single red penny to get the newest version. Sweet!

Rumors of an even NEWER Dubturbo soon?

The owner of Dubturbo has been dropping some hints in random comment sections that there will be a totally overhauled version coming out in the near future, it’s being re-built from the ground up. It’s probabaly going to cost more, but if you get in now at the lowest price you’ll like 99% likely be able to upgrade to the newest one when it comes out (Because that’s always how they’ve done it in the past – I don’t see why they would change that now.)

Is it even worth using Dubturbo? Who’s it for?

The older versions, nah I wouldn’t recommend them for anyone really except maybe for a kid as a toy. For anyone who’s serious about producing music, they were a huge NO THANKS. But the newer versions? Heck yeah. I mean, no they aren’t the same as having some slick $500 Reason setup or something, or dropping $10k on a protools studio setup… but for the $40 or whatever it’ll cost you for Dubturbo these days it’s totally worth it for beginner producers in my opinion. It depends who you ask, there are mixed opinions, but ultimately when you factor in the price and the fact that it’s always getter better and better for free, it’s an easy must-buy.

This is going to be the ultimate site for giving free music production and music making tips to beginners through advanced users. If you have a love for music and burning desire to learn then you’ll find that nothing can stop you, and I hope this blog supports you on your journey to music mastery!

I have a few tips for those of you who are new to music production and new to this blog, and it pertains to how to make the most out of your time with learning music, because for many they will give up way too early. So remember these 3 tips and you will be ahead of 99% of the other people out there:

1. Have Patience – Learning music and audio production takes time. You won’t master everything over night, and it takes months and years to hone your craft and become a master. So bear this in mind so that when you hit the inevitable walls or hurdles you don’t give up, just stay focused and keep pusing.
2. Learn to Let go and Have Fun – Practice is good, you really need to practice and spend time learning, but you also need to spend time having fun with music and just playing with it. This is where everything that you practice comes together and reminds you of why you are doing this in the first place, for fun and enjoyment!
3. Study & Emmulate Others – There is nothing wrong with copying others and emmulating them, all of the great masters of music whether it be classical, jazz, or modern electronic music got their start this way. First you watch the accomplished musicians and producers that you admire, and you attempt to emmulate them, until eventually you find your own voice and break away. This is a formula, an age old rule, and you are best served to remember it.
